The elevator pitch to this series would be something like, “JONNY QUEST meets SPEED RACER with plenty of Dirk Pitt and POPULAR MECHANICS!”  The hottest sports league in the world is the IPCA: Intercontinental Proto-Craft Association, where über-concept vehicles two generations beyond what is presently possible (autos, off-roads, motocross, watercraft, submersibles, motor aircraft, lighter-than-air crafts, gliders/parachutes, spacecraft…you name it!) compete in races on tracks, in cities, through jungles, over deserts, in underground rivers, on and in oceans, up in the sky, even around the moon and back.  Multi-national corporations sponsor most IPCA teams, including the most successful (and cutthroat) team, SeaJax Intelli-Craft (FIC).  But there is one family-owned IPCA team: Miles’ Competition-Pursuit Concepts (MCPC), operated by founder and IPCA legend Ponder Miles and his sons Quigley (driver-pilot) and Quinn (engineer-designer).  When Quigley is listed as lost during a test flight of a new sub-orbital plane, his best student must step in to fill his shoes: Quinn’s handsome and hotheaded middle child, Maxfield Quinlan Miles…but everybody calls him Max Q.  MAX Q uses the backdrop of racing concept machines for the adventures of Max and his family in foreign lands, lost worlds, and fantastic places where intrigue and discovery always seem to be lurking.
